Nullsoft's Shoutcast Audio Streaming is relatively
new technology and is constantly evolving. While the sound quality
and stream stability is excellent, WinAmp was not created to listen
to streaming media, consequently, tuning in with WinAmp may not
work just by clicking the "Tune In" button. However, if
you have WinAmp version 2.05 or better you can listen to the broadcast
with it. You can download the latest WinAmp player for free from
their site by clicking this icon.
After you have WinAmp installed, you can listen by
clicking the Tune In button on the top left. If a window opens asking
you if you want to Open or Save the file to the disk, select Open
File. If that fails to connect to the broadcast, you can manually
connect by selecting Open Location (Control L) in WinAmp and entering
207.228.48.2:8888 in the pop-up window.
