I've never really dug into this band, but I know a lot of people who likes them very much. Nice album title by the way. Tautologies ftw.

I lost track of this band.
Are they still playing soft emotive spacey rock?

Any reason they didn't go with "It is what it is," for the album title?

Anyways, I'll partake. I don't listen to a lot of Anathema, because I'm not in a rush to end my life or anything, but I do appreciate them once in a while.

Anathema has released a lot of classics. I enjoy depressive rock so I'll definitely check it out, but I don't really expect to be blown away or anything. It'd be a pleasant surprise, but I'm not expecting another "Eternity," "Alternative 4," or "A Fine Day to Exit" (obviously I'm not counting their stellar death/doom era).

Judgement is one of my favorite albums ever, but nothing else they have done comes close to that moment of pure genius...this album is no different, but it is the best thing they've done other than Judgement in my opinion, and a very good listen. I highly reccommend it.

I like the title Rev, you just need to write the music and lyrics and you are sure to sell at least one copy! "It is What it Is"

I feel pretty much like everyone else here, I will listen to this but feel no sense of urgency.

Yeah, very much looking forward to this especially considering the long gap since their last album (of new material).

I can't thank you enough for turning me on to this band at a very desperate time in my life. Smile

Anyway - I am excited to hear this as well!
