Kamelot confirmed

KAMELOT confirmed
10-04-10 13:00 - Age: 56 min - By: WackenHelge

This confirmation should be interesting for a lot of you: KAMELOT will play at Wacken this year! In their now almost 20 years of band history the Melodic Power metalheads created very much: 10 CDs, 1 DVD and 6 videos – and you should know these things as a fan. They also worked together with many guest musicians like Sascha Paeth, Simone Simons and Amanda Somerville.

See they fantastic live show at Wacken this year!

When Camelot played in 2008 a drunk, 50yo Swabian was hitting on me. Offered me to "have a beer together" like 10 times ... In other words I decided not to see Camelot again just now Smile - Safety precautions and shit.
Besides I, like Sortiment, have dozens of bands allready! I must be very careful when electing new bands for my to-do-list - I was almost glad when Primal Fear announced they weren't showing up - gave back some of my time, it did. Wink

The Primal Fear argument is not bad. Apparently the only way to restrict oneself is for bands to cancel shows Grin

I am hoping that Kamelot will bring Simone again, she sang with them the last time they played at Wacken and she will feature on the new album, if it's ever released...

RED HOT CHILI PIPERS marching to Wacken!
20-04-10 18:00 - Age: 14 min - By: WackenHelge

We were just informed that the Red Hot Chili Pipers from Scotland are confirmed for this years Wacken Open Air. Traditional folk-music with bag-pipes, guitars and a little bit of keyboard will make sure a good mood and the opportunity for a chummy party. The band could proof their skills on BBC 1 and on some big other festivals. On top of that you can hear the bag-pipe-guy on the official Harry Potter Soundtrack.

Just check out the guys.
