They've also booked some punk bands. Clearly the thinking is to offer as wide a variety of "heavy" music as possible, to get as many people as possible to buy a ticket.
It's not about metal, it's about making money, folks. Get over it. |

Thin Lizzy is now essentially a covers band. No new material will be released under the name. They are simply paying tribute to Phil's musical legacy, which is okay by me. Plenty of youngsters out there who need to be exposed to this shit.
Just because an icon passed away, doesn't mean we shouldn't enjoy their music in a live setting anymore. |

I will start at black label on friday and go down to paradise lost.
for the rest due to my physical condition i tend to stay in one spot at any given time
saturday start with alestorm on the way down to the mainstage for primal fear and hang around there and make it an early night as limp biz i do not have the need to watch I might hobble down for my dying bright but that will depend from some factors.
Also Limp bizkits pressence is justified that different generations have different trends and stuffs. graspop is a festival that tries to keep everyone satisfied and refuses to focus on one particular group of people. that is why you see a somewhat in my opinion to too varried range of groups and to manny that i rate not good enough and general wtf do they do here (chris cornell) but apparently clint liked him so i suppose why not.
the comment that it is about money is not really true as graspop is still consumption wise very reasonable compared to others and the beer is cold and well formed cant say that from each festival. also there are more then enough toilets and showers for free. also something which is not to common (remembering 36 toilets for 60k people and a certain dynamo where the toilets where burned down and not replaced) overlapping bands is a pitty but well they do try to put different styles on one stage and an other on the other marquee in order to reduce the possibility. at least it's not that far of a walk if one is disapointing
anyway sunday starts with sebastian bach and all the way down. don't forget to get a watermelon and trow is at axl rose his head

Then I must check out Skeletonwitch because I missed them a few times already.
Up to see some songs of Ensiferum
After that a bit of Black Label Society till I'm fed up
Sacred Reich is still a question mark so that depends on my mood.
Then Devildriver,hell yeah !!
Sabaton for my son but for me it's kinda bleh.
Amon Amarth,of course.
Then Cannibal Corpse followed by Lamb of God and as closure Ozzy.
No,I'm not going to see Slayer in between because I don't like them
Saturday :
I will surely check out Adrenaline Mob because of my favorite singer Russel Allen,of course
Then a bit of Alestorm to please Geoff.
After that I'll look for you guys at Primal fear and I'm sure I'll find you
Death Angel next and maybe a bit of Thin Lizzy.
Eluveiti afterwards cuz they are always fun.
Hopefully a break then till Exodus followed by Megadeth.
Fear Factory in the evening followed by Twisted Sister and normally closing with Dimmu Borgir.
I'm sure Geoff wants to see a bit of Limp Bizkit so I'll have to endure some of their stuff
Sunday :
This must be a calmer day
Starting with MaYan,Mark Janssen's band.
Then up to Sebastian Bach.
Europe at the mainstage but not sure if I'll see all of it.
Next Jon Oliva in the evening followed by Machine Head.
Behemoth will probably be the last band of the festival .If I'm not too tired then I'll try to catch COB .
I don't think we'll stay for Axl Rose
