Well it looks like I'm taking a train or bus to Maryland this year. I talked to my friend Blue and he not going this year. Sad The only other person I know who is going is Sly, but he is in RI and I'm practically living in NH so it would be a bit out of the way for him to pick me up, so I'm not even gonna ask.

It looks as though train ticket prices are going up as it gets closer to MDF and I still don't know if I'm leaving in Friday morning, afternoon or night. Hopefully by the end of the week I will have a babysitter for Friday. I have a few friends I can still ask.

I'm glad I read my horoscope today. It encouraged me to get the ball rolling on planing out the last details and that's exactly what I did today.

Every year it gets more and more difficult to go and when this happens it only make me more determined to get there. If I have to move mountains I WILL!

Well I just bought a train ticket. I wanted to buy one before they got even more expensive. The price I paid now was twice as much as it was a month ago. I figure I can always change my reservation if I have to take a later train. Hopefully though I won't have to.

It's going to be very long trip just getting to the train station will take at least a few hours. I'm guessing this is going to be a 12-14 hour trip for me with expected delays and all.

My trip will be something like this...

Home ---> Bus ---> Commuter Rail ---> Subway ---> Train ---> Taxi ---> Hotel

My train arrives in Baltimore at 4:40PM, however, this is Amtrak we are talking about so I'm expecting at least a 3-5 hour delay.

My journey will not be an an easy one but any destination that involves metal, beer and my good friends at Snakenet is worth the the hassle and aggravation of traveling by bus, train and taxi.

unfortunately not because my wife doesn't have days off. she is a teacher and cannot choose her holidays.
That sucks because this is the only one I never attended and as I could see on some pics, it's pretty crowded.
